About Summer by Hope Ayelabola

The bright sun is shining on my skin making me extremely hot. Butterflies flying so gently in the sky above me, when I look down all I see is pure green filling up the soil. Bright flowers waving when the strong, fast wind comes to them.

Colourful birds flying in the bright blue sky and bee’s buzzing so quietly, that you can barely hear them. Insects crawling on the pure fresh grass finding tasty food. While people are having picnics, putting on sun cream and relaxing outdoors. There is a sound from children playing with water guns and running in the huge, enormous splash zone.

The sun shining in the same spot, shining everywhere making the children happy, not frowny. All these things mean summer to me.
