Accelerator Academy

On Sunday, 8th May 2022 the Dynamic Future Leaders hosted the very first Accelerator Academy in conjunction with Aces Aspire. This event allowed us to come together and celebrate the achievements made by all the children in the first quarter of the year. Whilst every second of the night was thoroughly enjoyed there were a few key stand out moments.

Okhare

A special congratulations goes out to Okhare who was named the winner of the Black History Month Book and Video Review. His review of the book Africa, Amazing Africa Country by Country was insightful and it was clear to see that he definitely took in a lot of the information that he read. Not only that but, Okhare’s video is the second most viewed video on the Amazing Parent Gems Youtube account with 680 views and 182 likes. It is amazing to see him excel and Aces Aspire can’t wait to see what he does next.

Yappoa

We also want to give a special shout out to Yappoa, Aces Aspire recognises her hard work and Yappoa is constantly pushing herself out of her comfort zone, with resounding success. We see this as Yappoa’s book review is the most viewed video on the Amazing Parent Gems Youtube account with 741 views and 126 likes. Challenges like these really allow her to step out of her shell, Yappoa consistently raises the bar with the work she does and it is clear that she is always giving 100%. This is reflected as she is one of the first children to complete the upcoming I Am An Achiever Interview Challenge.

Kahoot

What better way to end an event than playing a game? It was amazing to see everyone getting involved with the Kahoot game, there were numerous times where people gained streaks and it was thrilling to see how the leaderboard was constantly changing. The questions related to Africa and the contributions that black people have made to society including inventors, kings and queens. Aces Aspire want to say a big congratulations to Faith, Daara and Okhare for placing top three, with a special mention to Hope and Sarah for placing as runners up.
