Your Future Your Ambition (YFYA) an interactive careers event focused on raising the awareness and promoting Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) subjects to diverse young people from the ages of 7-21+. Showcasing the science behind everyday products to the world of digital forensics, YFYA will blow your minds

YFYA returns for the 4th year to the Emirates Stadium on 5 March 2015 to provide an array of workshops and activities delivered by a selection of global companies such as Cisco, Accenture, Barclays, EDF Energy and National Grid.

Workshops and exhibitions include:

  • “Hackers” hosted by a Cisco’s Internet Security Specialist Engineer
  • “Moving Science” Flux Dance theatre through kinaesthetic learning will show the connection between STEM and Art
  • “Exploring the Universe with the World’s Largest Radio Telescope”, Square Kilometre Array are designing the world’s largest radio telescope and will be showing off their designs as well as discussing exploring the universe
  • “Real Models, Not Role Models” Dr Yvonne Thompson CBE author of “7 traits of Highly Successful Women on Boards” will be chairing a highly powered panel of men and women sharing tips and advise
  • Barclays Coding Playground

All companies will be on hand in the exhibitor area discussing how studying STEM subjects at school, college or universities opens doors to a huge range of careers opportunities and tips to improve employability.
