Wednesday 25th May I attended the Glossier X Hatch event. When I arrived I was greeted with a warm smile at the door and was offered a fresh smoothie. I loved the interior of the shop, Glossier is considered a ‘clean beauty’ brand and this is definitely reflected in the shops atmosphere. the walls are adorned with light pink.
Hatch Enterprise is a business that supports underrepresented entrepreneurs to develop the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to launch and grow a business. This is done through workshops, events, and 1-2-1 volunteering support. I was able to meet the Hatch employees who made the event possible. I also had the opportunity to converse with multiple amazing female entrepreneurs in the skincare industry.
Glossier is a beauty brand on a mission to give voice through beauty. What makes Glossier stand out is they have found a more hygienic way of offering testers to potential customers. The products are on display with disposable applicators so that contamination is avoided, this is such an innovative USP.
There were multiple standout products for that including; Glossier You Solid – a solid perfume, Invisible Shield – a sunscreen, Cloud Paint – a cream blush.
Overall it was an amazing event that allowed me to explore my interest in makeup and skincare with other like minded women.
