Salon International promised to be the biggest and most exciting event and it did not fall short but amazing live events showcasing the new season’s styles, cutting techniques and colour trends.
The show allowed hairdresser from all over the country to socially showcase their skills while meeting some of the big names in the industry. The show was not just all about the hair, on the WAHL stage there were a dance routine with two young boys and two adults; they were absolutely fantastic to watch. this was also rather entertaining because they got the crowd involved by a way of a dance off to UK’s no.1 single”All about that bass” by Meghan Trainor, the winner was chosen by the crowd and the winner goes home with a WAHL hairdressing set! if only we had the guts to compete!
The show gives you the opportunity to see a variety of products and equipment’ in action and if you have a salon, this was a great opportunity to see what will work for you and your clients. Kera Straight’s slogan, ‘Gorgeous made easy’ attracted a lot of young people as it was very social media focused and by tweeting that phrase you receive a goodie bag which was fantastic. The show had a hair and beauty stage with make-up, one of the eye shadow had a illuminate in the dark.
Overall the whole day was filled with people who were happy to be there to showcase there skills and talent, we as ACES Aspire media team had lots of fun plus we came out from the day with some goodies, definitely worth going, you will not be disappointed.
