Street Life vs Real Life

Street Life vs Real Life : A workshop by Words Of Wisdom 4 Young People.

The objective is to present an interactive environment for young people aged 10-17 to engage positively with one another, with  a view to reducing Youth Crime, reduce re-offending and reduce Anti Social Behaviour.

To date the London Ambulance Service will be in attendance. Their presentation includes looking at the consequences of Knife Crime, a blood loss demonstration and a real Life 999 audio.  There will be a talk from a motivational speaker and by a young person sharing his journey about how he has been affected by crime. There will be also be discussions and debate surrounding Youth crime and more.

There is free admission into the workshop and free refreshments will be provided. The Workshop will provide a powerful insight into the consequences of offending. It will be an opportunity to encompass youth not ordinarily in Education or Training, and in a safe environment. This is a community event and we welcome young people to attend from outside of the Borough, and any organisations who may wish to refer young people to the workshop.
