Youth Media Summit 2014

On 6th August 2014, we hosted the biggest Youth Media event the UK has ever seen – in partnership with the BFI. We had over 400 delegates representing 150 youth media platforms and over 40 mainstream.   We hope our passion and enthusiasm for young people making media is contagious. Every day, we get to meet and work with the most dynamic and creative people, often battling against all odds to create professional, beautiful-looking media; and as Lord Putnam emphasises has ‘been undervalued for too long’.

The time is now to connect and use our power and influence to make a positive difference. The youth media industry in the UK is among the industries that are thriving greatly in the world, and the YOUTH MEDIA SUMMIT 2014 celebrated that innovation and potential.
